In many parts of the world, water purification plants are insufficiently equipped
to guarantee bacteria and virus free drinking water. In these cases Norit's membrane
filtration system offers the necessary solid barrier. If necessary we can even
produce safe and high quality drinking water out of municipal effluent. A series
of activated carbon products takes care of the efficient and economic removal
of colour, odour, taste and ozone residues. Once saturated, the activated carbon
can easily be reactivated for prolonged use in our facilities in the Netherlands,
Italy, the United States, and the United Kingdom. To further enhance security
